Refund Policy
Every app comes with a free trial, so you can test it on your own Mac before spending anything. If something still goes wrong after purchase, here is exactly how refunds work.
The short version
I stand behind my apps. If you hit a technical issue that makes an app unusable on your Mac and I am unable to resolve it, I will support a refund request within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are processed by Paddle, the Merchant of Record for all orders, and go back to your original payment method.
Try before you buy
Each app offers a free trial download. The trial is the full app, so you can confirm it works on your Mac, with your macOS version and your workflow, before you purchase a licence. Please use it: it is the fastest way to know whether an app fits, and it avoids most refund situations entirely.
When refunds are offered
A refund request is eligible when all of the following apply:
- You contact support within 14 days of the purchase date.
- The app has a technical problem that makes it unusable for its advertised purpose on a supported macOS version.
- You have given me a reasonable chance to fix it. That may include sharing your macOS version, app version, and steps to reproduce the issue.
Most problems turn out to be quick fixes, so please reach out via the support page at fahidjavid@gmail.com before requesting a refund. I usually reply within one business day.
How refunds are processed
All orders are handled by Paddle.com as the Merchant of Record. Once a refund is approved, Paddle returns the payment to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days.
When a refund is issued, the licence key attached to the order is deactivated and the app returns to trial mode on any Mac it was activated on.
What refunds do not cover
- Change of mind, or no longer needing the app.
- Issues the free trial would have shown, such as a missing feature or incompatibility with your macOS version, when the trial was not tried first.
- Problems caused by modified systems, beta versions of macOS, or third-party software conflicts outside my control.
- Requests made after the 14-day window.
- Feature requests. I genuinely want to hear them, but a missing feature is not a defect.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country. If you are in the EU, the UK, or another region with statutory refund rights for digital purchases, those rights apply in addition to this policy. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to every order.
Chargebacks
If a chargeback is opened on an order, the associated licence may be suspended while Paddle reviews the dispute. Contacting me first is always faster: genuine issues get refunded without a fight.
