MathPad

A notepad that does the arithmetic

MathPad is a notepad that does the arithmetic. Type calculations in plain lines and the answers appear alongside, updating as you edit. No formula bar, no cells, no spreadsheet.

02

What It Does

01

Answers beside the line, as you type

Every line is evaluated as you write it and the result sits in the right margin. Change a number higher up and everything below follows immediately.

02

Name things and reuse them

Assign a value to a name and refer to it further down. A running total is kept for you, so a long list of figures adds up without a separate sum line.

03

The functions you actually reach for

sqrt, log, sin, round, min and max, plus comments so you can note what a figure is for and still read it back next month.

04

A sheet per problem

Work is organised into sheets, so the kitchen renovation and the invoice maths stay apart instead of running into each other in one long document.

03

Requirements

Distributed outside the Mac App Store, so macOS asks before the first launch: open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. Needed once per app.

04

Buying And Licensing

01 How many Macs does one licence cover?

Two. Every licence covers activation on up to two Macs that you own or control, for personal and commercial use alike.

02 Is this a subscription?

No. It is a one-time purchase. Pay once, keep the app, and no renewal ever appears on your card.

03 What does the free trial include?

The trial is the app itself, so you can confirm it works on your Mac, with your macOS version and your workflow, before spending anything.

04 Can I get a refund?

If a technical issue makes the app unusable and it cannot be fixed, yes: within 14 days of purchase, processed by Paddle back to your original payment method.

Try MathPad on your Mac

Download the trial, see how it fits, and buy it only if it earns its place.
